St. George's & the East End
World Heritage Centre

About
Before you explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site that encompasses the Town of St. George and its surrounding forts, stop at the World Heritage Centre at nearby Penno's Wharf to learn about Bermuda's first settlement and pick up free maps. The centre is housed in a massive, restored 19th-century warehouse with a variety of interactive exhibits; the short film "A Stroll Through St. George’s" is helpful when planning your own walking tour of the town. The World Heritage Centre is operated by the St. George's Foundation; admission fees and purchases from the onsite Second-Hand Rose gift shop support its ongoing work.
