A truly Bermudian way to get around: motor scooters and pedal bikes are ideal for exploring our Island's winding streets and to stop as often as you wish in order to take in the ocean views. And ride without fear because our speed limit is never set above 32kph/20mph.
Along with getting you to your destination, many taxi drivers are excellent tour guides, eager to share stories behind our landmarks and customs - just raise your hand to hail one, and off you go!
Our island's buses are frequent, plentiful and service most areas of interest. You cannot miss their pink and blue striped exterior, and you can rest assured that the atmosphere on the inside is as playful as the outside.
Four public ferry routes offer a picturesque alternative for travel around our island. All ferries depart from the Ferry Terminal on Front Street in Hamilton. Cash is not accepted, so be sure to have your transportation pass, ticket or token in hand.
For a short, relaxing excursion on our island, a horse-drawn carriage ride is ideal. Popular trips? A circular route west of the City of Hamilton; a ride through history in the Town of St. George or the Royal Naval Dockyard; or another spectacular ride along South Road. Any way you go will be a ride like no other.
