With so much to do in, on and high above the water, you’ll find it hard to head back to dry land.

Day One - Arrive to Beautiful Bermuda!

After checking into your hotel, head to your nearest beach. If you’re located West End, check out Church Bay or Horseshoe Bay, and if located in the East, head over to Tobacco Bay for some of the best snorkeling the world has to offer. Most beaches offer snorkel rentals on site, but if not, your friendly concierge will be able to point you in the right direction.

Day Two - Shipwrecks

Discover more than five centuries of nautical history waiting for you beneath our clear waters. Nicknamed the Shipwreck Capital of the World, Bermuda is home to over 300 shipwrecks waiting for you to explore. Contact a local dive shop and you can arrange a full day dive or snorkeling excursion exploring what these amazing shipwrecks have to offer.

Day Three - Set Sail

Continue your sea-faring adventures with a Catamaran sail around the island. Either lounge on the deck, or dive in for another round of snorkeling discovering Bermuda’s amazing seas.

Day Four - Parasail!

Bermuda offers not only under the sea adventures, but over the sea too! Ready to try your luck as a human kite? Try parasailing over our crystal-clear waters. You will not want to come down, we promise. Book a parasail in the West End at Dockyard, or the East End in Harrington Sound, and see what Bermuda has to offer while gliding through the air! Depending on your preference, you can land and take off without getting wet, unless you request a "dip" at the end of your ride. No experience is necessary for this popular family sport.

Day Five: Explore on your own

Rent your own boat! Motorboats. Sailboats. Pedal boats. Kayaks. The choice is yours. Our waters are waiting.

  • Safety equipment is supplied, by law, in all self-drive rentals
  • Deposits are required by some boat operators

Pack a picnic, they can supply the fish tackle, and don’t forget the map! Explore the many coves, inlets, and protected bays Bermuda has to offer on your own time. Go all day, half day, or just for a couple of hours, but don’t miss out!

Other Options:

Here are a few more fun options for activities in--and on--our crystal-clear waters:

Helmet Diving!

For those of you who aren’t certified divers, try Helmet Diving! Every day, our helmet diving outfitters take small groups by boat to a dive site. There, you climb down a ladder into the water. When you are shoulder deep, a bell-shaped helmet with clear glass panels is placed over your head.

Now you may climb all the way down to the ocean floor - up to 3.5M / 12FT below. A hose attached to your boat supplies air into the roomy helmet. Wearing your glasses or contact lenses is not a problem.

One of our experienced guides will conduct a walking tour along our celebrated coral reefs, surrounded by schools of fish. It is as simple as strolling through a garden, for non-swimmers and children alike. Better yet, your hair never gets wet.

Charter your own boat

Let our knowledgeable skippers take your party on a quintessential Bermuda outing.

  • Where you go and what you do is up to you and your skipper
  • Boats range in size from large ships able to carry up to 200 passengers to intimate cruisers fit for a party of 15
  • Overnight accommodations are available in some cases

Glassbottom Boats

During the colder months, don’t forget to experience the Glass Bottom Boat Tours: Several of Bermuda's snorkeling guides have glass bottom boats so you get the best of both worlds, an underwater world without getting wet and witnessing the beautiful sights above the water line.

Fishing

Going after game fish in the waters off Bermuda is a sport few fishermen can pass up. The beautiful Atlantic Ocean is home to many species including Grouper, Rockfish, Snapper, Tuna, Dolphin fish and more. Charter boats make daily full or half-day trips to the banks where fishermen can indulge themselves in trying to hook the big ones in the Wahoo and Tuna family. The Bermuda Triple Crown event held in July lures fisherman from all over; in fact the World Cup is part of the event and is a world-wide fishing tournament.
